Makes 12 sliders

These are so fun to make when friends are coming over. Perfect for a sports filled Sunday. I like to make a variety of different sliders since they are so easy to make ahead and pop in the oven just before ready to serve. I will be posting more slider recipes so watch for them and in the mean time give these a try. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 package of 12 slider buns*
1 - 12.5 ounce canned chicken (or use shredded rotisserie chicken)
1 cup mozzarella cheese - shredded
1/3 cup pesto (I like Delallo Simply Pesto)
1 TBSP butter
1 tsp each: garlic salt, onion powder, dry basil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Carefully slice buns in half, keeping them intact with each other. Place the bottom buns in a baking dish (I use a parchment lined baking sheet). Spread pesto evenly over the buns. Top with shredded chicken and mozzarella. Then add the top buns.
In a bowl melt the butter with garlic salt, onion powder and basil. Drizzle the butter mixture on top of the buns.
Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly and serve.
*I buy GF rolls and make a few extra for myself.
