Looking for something fun, easy to make and delicious? This might be my new go to sweet treat. Perfect for football Sundays, family gatherings and holidays. I made some biscotti today and I see these two being a perfect pairing. Enjoy!
Ingredients
15 ounces ricotta cheese, drained
8 ounces mascarpone cheese (cream cheese can be substituted)
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Combine ricotta and mascarpone cheese together in a mixing bowl. Mix on medium high speed for several minutes or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until combined and smooth. (Start on low speed to keep powdered sugar in the bowl and not on you).
Fold in all but two tablespoons of the mini chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. This dip is best chilled for one hour or more, but ready to go in 15 minutes.
Just before serving, sprinkle on reserved chocolate chips and dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve with dippers and enjoy.
Dippers
Graham crackers, pizzelle cookies, broken waffle cones, sugar cookies, fresh fruit, etc.
